Chapter 113 Provocation Jemima deliberately dragged out her words. "Oh, | see..... So that's all it is, huh? |

thought you might have feelings for Sierra. But then again, she is a great woman. She's only just returned to

campus, and already she's catching people's attention. | wouldn't be surprised if more and more men start

hanging around outside the practice rooms just to hear her play."

Theo's expression darkened, and he remained silent.

Jemima smirked inwardly and continued, "I have a student-Sierra's senior. They haven't seen each other in three

years, but he still remembers her clearly. And guess what? She remembers him too. They even won a piano duet

competition together back in the day. They're about the sage, and honestly, they make a great pair. You

said Sierra and your nephew broke up, right? Well, | think she and Cayden would be a much better match."

Sure enough, the person on the other end of the line couldn't stay calm anymore.

"Aunt Jemima, weren't you the one worried that dating would interfere with her piano playing?" Theo's voice was

low, carrying a subtle chill.

Jemima pretended not to notice. She chuckled lightly. "I was worried about that. But Cayden and Sierra both

studied piano. If anything, being together would push them to improve even more. Anyway, | have students to

check on-I'll let you go."

And with that, she hung up.

At Gray Corporation's office, Theo stood by the floor-to-ceiling window, staring at the phone in his hand, his

expression unreadable. A cold glint flashed across his deep eyes.

Setting the phone down, he turned and strode toward his desk.

He pressed the intercom. "Adrian, cin."

Within seconds, Adrian entered the office. "Mr. Gray, what can | do for you?"

"What's on my schedule this morning?"

"You have two meetings, and at noon, you're scheduled to have lunch with Mr. Xaeven from Pinkorps."

"Reschedule the lunch to dinner. I'm going out at noon."

Adrian was momentarily surprised but quickly nodded. "Understood. I'll take care of it."

Cayden brought Sierra to the piano room but was soon called away by another professor who needed help.

Before leaving, he told Sierra to start practicing and that he'd be back soon.

Sierra walked into the piano room, her fingers lightly gliding over the keys as a smile appeared on her face. She

took a seat on the bench, placed her hands on the keyboard, and let the music flow effortlessly from her

fingertips. For a moment, it felt as if she had traveled back in time-three years ago.

Outside the piano room, Felicia's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Wait, isn't Sierra supposed to have not played for three years? How is she still this good?"

She thought she was hallucinating. The melody drifting from the room was far too refined, too smooth. Her gaze

fell on Sierra inside, playing with deep focus, and an unmistakable flicker of jealousy crossed her face. Janice's

expression darkened as well, but unlike Felicia, she didn't look shocked-just unsettled.

"She made it through the Marisol Cup preliminaries, which means she's still got skill. We underestimated her,"

Janice admitted.

ve

But Felicia unwilling to accept it, lowered her voice. "She's playing such a basic piece. Even a beginner could pull

it off. She used to challenge herself with the hardest pieces, but today she picked something easy-clearly, she's

not at the level she used to be. Janice, you don't need to worry. Your skills are way beyond hers now."

"Exactly," another woman chimed in, eager to please. "Janice, you're the piano princess. You've competed in

both national and international competitions these past few years. You have the experience, the technique-

there's no way Sierra can match up to you now!"

"Yeah, Janice, we're all rooting for you!"

A chorus of agreement followed as the women around Janice rushed to reassure her, their voices laced with

flattery.

Janice lifted her chin, her expression regaining its usual arrogance.

"I'm not afraid of Sierra."
