With so much food piled up, just looking at it was overwhelming. Forget eating-
it was enough to make her feel full, maybe even nauseous. The very thought of finishing it was stomach-turning.
Both men's faces darkened, each looking more miserable than the other.
"Suzy..."
"Mentor..."
They spoke at the stime, but Suzy cut them off, deliberately putting on a stern expression. "What's wrong?
Weren't you both beggingfor a chance? I'm giving you one now, so why don't you look happy?"
The two men were speechless.
A chance like this? They'd rather not have it. How could anyone be happy about this madness?
Seeing they still weren't moving, Suzy pressed them further. "Con, whoever finishes first wins! Or are you
giving up?"

"Finish it all?" They both balked at the idea. Even if they had the appetite of a competitive eater, there was no
way they could clear the table. It was physically impossible.
"Can we, uh, please change the rules," they pleaded, once again in unison.
Suzy raised an eyebrow. "Why should | change them? Is it because you're afraid you can't handle it?"
The two men looked deeply uncomfortable.
Suzy let out a cold laugh. "You're both grown men, and you can't do it? Yet somehow you think I, a woman, am
supposed to manage all of this? What, in your eyes, am I-skind of pig?"
"No! Absolutely not!" Both shook their heads and waved their hands in denial.
"Not a pig? That's exactly what you're implying!" Suzy snapped, pointing at them. "I've given you your chance,
so decide-are you in or not? And if you're not, then for God's sake, stop botheringfrom now on!"
These two childish fools-she was done with both of them! She couldn't stand the sight of them for even another
second.
Seeing Suzy's anger, the two men didn't dare say another word. They lowered their heads like two children
caught misbehaving.
"If you can't do it, then get out!" Suzy snapped, glaring at them in frustration.
The two exchanged a glance and began shuffling toward the door.

But before they could take more than a couple of steps, Suzy called out, "Cback!"
They immediately turned around, standing at attention like soldiers awaiting orders.
Pointing at the piles of food and other items, Suzy said, "If you're not going to eat it, then sort it out. Take
responsibility for what you sent, split it up, pack it, and take it with you. Donate the edible stuff to people in need
and dispose of the rest properly. Make sure it's recycled."
The two men hurried to summon their assistants who quickly began sorting everything according to her
instructions.
Once the mess was dealt with, Suzy waved them off again. “Go, go, go! Get out of my sight. | don't want to see
either of you here."
She shook her head in disbelief. Only a fool would even consider being with men as childish as

these two.
For the next few days, Suzy finally had speace. At least, they stopped sending ridiculous deliveries.
But true peace? That was too much to hope for.

Instead of sending things, the two men found a new way to compete-this time, over who could get her attention
by pretending to be injured or ill.
One afternoon, she got a call from Desmond, his voice filled with urgency. "Mrs. Wright, uh, | mean Miss Frost, Mr.
Wright just had an accident in the bathroom. He slipped and fell. It's pretty serious. If you have time, could | pick
you up to cand help him? You're the only one who knows his condition well enough to treat him."
Suzy was immediately suspicious. Was Dylan really hurt, or was this just another one of his tricks? She asked
directly, "Did he actually fall?"
"Yes," Desmond replied earnestly. "I'd never lie to you about something like this. He's really injured. We don't
know anyone here, and we're at a loss for what to do, so | had to call you. You're the only one familiar with his
condition.
"If you don't believe me, | can send you a photo as proof. Honestly, I'm calling you
in secret. Mr. Wright didn't wantto contact you because he was afraid you'd think he was just making up an
excuse to see you again."
