Chapter 0739
Desmond's men tailed Timothy discreetly, expecting him to head to an unfamiliar location. To their surprise, he
went straight to the main Frost family estate.
When Suzy heard the update, she was equally puzzled. "Why would he go there?"
Had Timothy and the imposter Charlotte visited the main estate together? Otherwise, why would he think to go
there?
No matter the reason, it was crucial to understand what he was up to. Suzy instructed Desmond, "Don't alert
him. Just observe what he's doing."
"Yes, Mrs. Wright"
After ending the call, Suzy turned to Dylan. "You're supposed to look like someone suffering from a severe
poison.
"So, moving forward, you'll need to stay out of sight and act convincingly. Make sure to quietly inform Grandma
and Diana so they don't get suspicious."
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtNot telling them would make the act more believable, but Suzy didn't want to worry them unnecessarily,
especially Grace.
A heads-up to ensure they wouldn't slip up was the safest route.
Dylan nodded, agreeing without hesitation. "Understood."
With those arrangements in place, another update cin from Desmond. "Mrs. Wright, your father walked
around the Frost estate but didn't do anything before leaving."
"Keep following him."
What was Timothy up to? Was he deliberately trying to throw them off by walking around aimlessly?
Suzy's eyes darkened with suspicion. Was someone using hypnosis to manipulate him?
Her thoughts grew colder as she murmured, “Let's see how far they're willing to go and what exactly they want."
By now, Suzy was almost certain that the imposter Charlotte was connected to the real Charlotte.
The nature of their connection, however, remained unclear.
It was remarkable how everything seemed to tie back to Charlotte. Was she so calculated that she orchestrated
everything perfectly before her death?
Timothy's next stop was Charlotte's private villa.
Again, he did nothing but walk around before leaving.
It looked like he was searching for someone or perhaps not searching at all.
From the footage Desmond sent back, Suzy noticed Timothy's expression was eerily vacant. His eyes lacked
focus, and his movements were stiff, almost robotic.
It was undeniable that Timothy had been hypnotized.
The sharp realization struck Suzy. It was highly likely that the woman planted a listening device on Timothy.
Otherwise, controlling him so easily wouldn't have been possible.
If that were true, their conversations were likely being overheard. Not that it mattered-there wasn't anything she
was afraid of that woman hearing.
In the hours that followed, Timothy visited several more locations, each time
simply wandering around before leaving.
There wasn't a single useful clue to be gleaned from his actions.
Suzy frowned deeply. "My dad is completely under her control. Desmond needs to find a way to bring him back."
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmWandering aimlessly outside wasn't just pointless and it could also be dangerous.
Dylan quickly called Desmond. "Find a way to bring him back. Make sure he's unharmed no matter what."
No matter what Timothy did, he was still Suzy's father. Even if Timothy tried to kill Dylan, there was no way
Dylan would allow him to be hurt.
Everything seemed to be at a standstill. Dylan turned to Suzy.
"I've had people look into that woman's identity as well, but nothing unusual has cup. And as far as we can
tell, she has absolutely no connection to Charlotte." en
