Chapter 0746

"Not yet, | was just about to," Grace replied.

Then she asked, "Have you eaten?"

"I've already had lunch!" Suzy forced a light tone.

"Grandma, why haven't you eaten yet? Doesn't Diana usually get hungry around noon?"

Diana was known for eating very little in the morning and usually got hungry early. If she were home, lunch

would typically be prepared earlier.

The moment Grace mentioned she hadn't eaten yet, Suzy already suspected Diana wasn't there.

But she still held onto a sliver of hope, thinking today might just be an exception. After all, people don't follow

routines all the time.

"She's not home. She left early this morning. I'm not sure what she's been up to lately. She's barely been around.

When | ask, she doesn't tellanything and acts all secretive. Honestly, I'm starting to think she's seeing

someone."

"Why do you think that?" Suzy asked, doing her best to sound casual, not wanting Grace to pick up on anything

unusual.

"Oh, it's nothing," Grace said with a laugh.

"It's just that girls usually only act this way when they're dating-leaving early, coming hlate. Otherwise,

Diana, my little homebody, wouldn't suddenly turn into such a social butterfly."

"Maybe she is," Suzy replied, keeping her tone light.

After a few more words, Suzy found an excuse to end the call, not wanting to raise Grace's suspicions.

Once she hung up, she immediately called Allen. “Track Diana's location for me."

"Diana?" Allen responded, his voice instantly concerned.

"Don't tellshe's been kidnapped again."

The last tDiana disappeared, she was taken unexpectedly.

It hadn't been long since that ordeal, and now this? Was the other side finding her

to be an especially useful pawn?

"No, this is different. Dylan's been poisoned, and | suspect it's connected to her. But now she's missing!"

"She poisoned Dylan?" Allen said, sounding like he'd just heard the most ridiculous joke in the world. "That's her

own brother. Why would she poison her own brother?

"The details aren't clear yet," Suzy admitted, voicing her suspicion.

"| suspect the person we rescued last twasn't actually Diana, but someone in disguise."

"So all that effort was spent saving a fake?” Allen's temper flared immediately.

"Who the hell is behind this? Are they just never going to stop?"

"Forget about venting. It's pointless right now. If my suspicion is correct, then the real Diana might already be...

Suzy trailed off, unable to finish her sentence.

If her guess was right, and Diana was indeed in danger, Grace would never be able to handle the truth. And

Dylan-his condition was already grim.

Even though the poison wasn't one of those incurable, fatal toxins, the best window for administering the

antidote had already passed.

The poison acted quickly, and if the antidote wasn't taken immediately, it left devastating aftereffects.

Take Dylan, for example. While he took the Elixir of Purification, it wouldn't restore him fully.

Not only would the feeling he had regained in his legs be lost again, but his once agile hands would also begin to

lose their dexterity.

On the other end of the call, Allen didn't argue further.

He quickly followed Suzy's instructions and sent his men out to search for Diana.

Despite combing through nearly the entire city, there was no trace of her until Suzy received a message:

"Sister-in-law, | heard you're looking for me!

let's you're so eager to meet

let's arrange a face-to-face. But I'll only meet you and no one else."
