anger. “If you don’t marry me, who else do you want to marry? Belinda, listen—you’re never truly going to
escape me!”
Belinda burst into laughter at his possessiveness. “So, you're planning to keepshackled to you for life? Isn't
that a bit excessive?”
“I don’t care! | just want you by my side,” Lucas replied firmly.
Belinda’s expression turned serious before her tone softened. “It’s really too soon to discuss remarriage. I'm not
prepared for that level of commitment right now. Besides, with everything happening, I lack the energy to even
think about something like that.”
