Not hearing Holden's voice, Elysia held her phone closer to her eyes. When she saw that the call was still

connected, she put it back to her ear. “Holden, are you still there?”

Getting back on track after hearing the cool tone, Holden said, “I'm sorry. | just drifted away for a moment.”

Elysia answered, “It's alright.”

After ending the call, Elysia took the design sketches from her drawer and made a few minor changes. With

about twenty days left to deliver the evening gown to Zane, she needed to refine it more and start getting ready

for production.

The next morning, as soon as Elysia arrived at school, she was hit with negative comments about Emma.

“I can’t believe how shameless she is. After everything she’s done, she still has the nerve to cto school.”

“If I were her, I'd hide underground instead of strutting around

“She always pretended to be innocent. If it weren't for this incident, I'd still be clueless about her true

“And how did Robert get so infatuated with Emma? He even defended her!”

From these comments, Elysia learned that Emma had cback to school. She had thought that Emma would

take stoff after such an incident, so she was surprised by how quickly Emma returned.

Elysia thought this was totally out of character for Emma. But Emma being at school didn’t threaten her at all. In

fact, it might even be entertaining.

Once inside the classroom, Ava rushed over to her and took her arm. “Elysia, have you heard? Emma’s back at

school!”

Elysia said, “Yes.”

“I can’t believe she actually had the nerve to cback. How thick-skinned can she be?”

Elysia stayed quiet while Ava added, “You have no idea how harshly everyone is talking about her. The

comments just keep getting worse.”

Seeing Ava enjoy the gossip, Elysia couldn't help but chuckle. “Her problems don’t concern me, but there's

something that involves you. Do you want to know?”

Ava'’s eyes lit up with curiosity. “What is it?”

“Holden's concert.”

As soon as Elysia said those words, Ava’s eyes sparkled with excitement. But her expression quickly changed. “I

know Holden's concert is next Saturday, but the tickets sold out in no time. | didn’t get a single one.”

Elysia smiled. | actually have two tickets.”

“Holden's?”

When Elysia confirmed it, Ava almost jumped for joy. She wrapped her arms around Elysia, trying to plant a kiss

on her cheek. Acting quickly, Elysia raised her hand to stop her. “Save your kisses for someone else!”

Ava realized Elysia didn’t like that kind of display and quickly covered her mouth, remembering that Elysia

preferred not to be kissed like that.

With a sweet tone, she leaned her head on Elysia’s shoulder and said, “My kisses? How could | possibly give

them to anyone but you?”

Elysia cast Ava a sidelong glance, inwardly scoffing at how insincere she appeared. Elysia gently lifted Ava’s

head, teasing, “Are you sure your kisses won't be for your boyfriend?”

Ava'’s cheeks flushed bright red, and she lowered her gaze, poking Elysia shyly with a finger. “Elysia, don’t

expose me! | have my pride!”

Elysia thought to herself that a woman's words can always be deceiving.

Ever since Ava told her that a spoiled girl has an easier life, Elysia was sure that Ava’s kisses wouldn't just be for

her. But even if Ava really did save them, Elysia didn’t want them.

Seeing that Ava was about to keep flirting, Elysia quickly said, “Um, | just remembered | have something to do.

I'll be .heading out now.”

With that, she slipped past Ava and headed toward the door. Ava rushed to catch up. “Elysia, where are you

going? Can't you takewith you?”

While speaking, Ava had already reached her side and tugged at her sleeve with a pleading look. Unable to

withstand Ava'’s persistence, Elysia gave in with a nod.

Elysia just wanted to borrow snotes from Justin in Class 1. The main reason was to help the students in

Class 6, as their current study pace might not be enough.

Though Elysia couldn't guarantee that Justin's notes would help them, it was worth a try.

As they approached the entrance of Class 1, they ran into one of its students. Elysia quickly stopped her. “Hello,

I'm looking for Justin. Could you please call for him?”

The girl seemed surprised to see Elysia in Class 1 looking for Justin, her curiosity about their relationship piqued.

When Elysia had attended Class 1, Elysia and Justin hadn't been particularly close, but now she was seeking him

out after transferring.

Noticing that the girl hesitated, Elysia’s brows furrowed slightly

Although Ava had no idea why Elysia was looking for Justin, she trusted Elysia’s reasons. She smiled at the girl

and said, “Could you please call Justin for us?”

Only then did the girl notice Ava. She nodded and replied, “Just moment.” With that, she walked towards the

classroom.

While they waited in the hallway, Robert walked by. When he spotted Elysia, he frowned slightly. “What are you

doing here?”

Robert's expression darkened at her words, and just as he was about to respond, Justin's voice cfrom

behind. “She’s here to see me.” His tone was icy.

Robert turned to face him and raised an eyebrow. “You?”

Justin confirmed, “Yes.”

Elysia added, “If you have no business here, could you kindly step aside?” Her words made Robert's brow furrow

even tighter, as he realized he was unwelcome.

Ava shared Elysia’s feelings, her expression just as displeased as she glared at Robert. “Do you really need to

hang around here being a nuisance?”

Though Robert felt hurt by the insult, he couldn't say more; so he walked into the classroom. Once he was gone,

Justin turned to Elysia and smiled warmly. “Did you need something from me?”

Elysia replied, “I'd like to borrow your notes.”

Justin raised an eyebrow, puzzled. ‘Given Elysia’s good grades, does she really need my notes?’
