Chapter 138
Chuck's voice cthrough the speaker after the call connected. Alice, wanting everyone to hear the
conversation and prove that Yolanda had faked her report card, pressed the speakerphone button.
She exclaimed, "Hello! Are you Yolanda Henderson's homeroom teacher?"
"Yes, | am. Who's this?" Chuck replied.
Alice responded sweetly, "Well, I'm one of Yolanda's family members. | have a few concerns about her exam
results, and | was hoping you could clarify something for me."
"Sure. Feel free to ask your question," Chuck replied.
"We saw that Yolanda's report card shows a perfect score, and it also states that she ranked first in her grade. Is
that result accurate?" Alice asked.
Everyone in the room, including Vivian, leaned in closer, waiting intently for the response. However, Chuck's

"Yes, she did rank first in the grade, and she scored full marks. There's no forgery involved."
As Chuck's words echoed through the room, everyone's eyes widened in disbelief.
Embarrassed, Alice hesitated for a moment before stubbornly asking, "Huh? How is that possible? Are you sure
there was no tampering?"
"Of course! You're Yolanda's family, right? Shouldn't you be happy she got such a good result?" Chuck sounded a
bit annoyed now.
"N-No, | apologize... I'm just so surprised..." Alice apologized profusely.
After nervously exchanging a few more pleasantries, Alice ended the call. Once
the call was over, the room fell into an extended silence.
Diana, hearing Chuck confirm that Yolanda had indeed ranked first, was overjoyed. Regardless of whether she
believed it or not, or how Yolanda had managed to do it, the fact was undeniable.
It didn't matter whether Diana believed it or not, or how Yolanda had managed to achieve such a feat. What
mattered was that Diana could hold her head high in front of Alice at last.
Plus, since Yolanda had won the bet, there was no need to hand the advantage over to Paul. If Vivian weren't still
present, Diana might have even considered popping a bottle of champagne to celebrate.
"Ah, | just remembered | have sthings to take care of at home. I'll be leaving first," Alice mentioned. Her
face was stiff with embarrassment from being proven wrong.
"Right, | have something to do too..."
"Wait." Seeing that Vivian was about to leave with the others, Yolanda suddenly spoke, "Do you remember our
bet? You lost."
Vivian froze mid-step. Slowly, she turned her head to look at Yolanda.
Paul immediately snapped, "Yolanda, she's your grandmother! Are you seriously going to make her kneel and

Yolanda's calm but unwavering gaze turned toward him. "If | had lost, would you have thrownout of the
Henderson residence?"
Diana also frowned when she heard that. "Yolanda, it's unheard of for a
grandmother to kneel before her granddaughter. Let it go."
However, Yolanda didn't budge. She stared at Vivian with an icy calm until Vivian,
clearly uneasy under her gaze, finally heard Yolanda speak.
"I can let it go, but what can you offerin exchange?"
When she made the bet with Vivian, Yolanda hadn't expected her to follow through. Furthermore, forcing Vivian
to kneel would bring her no real benefit. So, why not ask for something that would?
The rest of the Henderson family fell silent upon hearing this. Indeed, if Yolanda had lost, they wouldn't have
hesitated to kick her out of the Henderson residence.
