Chapter 648: Midway through dinner, Eileen excused herself to use the restroom. When she walked out of the bathroom, she noticed Bryan leaning against the wall. His brow only relaxed a bit when he heard her approaching.
"Are you waiting for me?" Eileen glanced at him through the mirror while she washed her hands. "Are you trying to getto divorce you?" Bryan approached her, his hands finding the edge of the sink, his forehead gently resting against hers. "Would you even consider it?" "Not only would I not consider it, I'd be furious," Eileen replied firmly.

"Are you really that scared of me? Why weren't you scared back when you disappeared into that tiny village?" Eileen teased.
Realizing his fault, Bryan kissed her softly. "Let's agree not to dredge up the past during our arguments." "Fine," Eileen dried her hands and gently pushed him away, creating sspace between them. “Just don't makeangry before the wedding. If you do, you're gone. I might just sell your ashes and bury them with someone else's. Remember, I am your lawful wife, and I can do whatever I want with your ashes." After all, if she no longer wanted her husband, she had the right to do as she pleased. Who would stop her? Bryan was left speechless, his gaze flickering.
After their meal, they escorted Stella to her hfirst.

As they drove, Roderick received a call from Judie, inquiring about his whereabouts. He offered her an excuse, trying to placate her curiosity. But upon reaching Roderick's neighborhood, they encountered Judie, who was out for an evening stroll.
"Eileen?" Judie called out, her expression shifting into a frown as she first spotted only Eileen. When she saw Roderick emerging from the car, her frown deepened. "Where have you been? I've been worried all day, thinking you might be up to no good."
Roderick circled to the back of the m car, pulling Judie aside to whisper to her. "Il fill you in once we're home." He then looked up, offered Eileen a warm smile, and said, "We're safe."
Judie was clearly upset. "What is happening here? What are you two up to? Roderick has been away all day! Has he done something disgraceful behind my back? Eileen, are you hiding something for him? I'm pregnant with his child now! You can't do anything that will affect me!”
