Chapter 55 Nancy watched Judson's worried face, feeling a sting in her heart. "Don't worry. It doesn't hurt," Before Lena could respond, Ann, seething with jealousy, interrupted. "Hey, handsome, don't waste your pity on this tramp. She cheated on you! She seduced my boyfriend!" 'Why does Lena get all the attention from such a hot guy!' Ann fumed.

"Handsome, my boyfriend's Orlando. And I'm the one his parents want him to marry! But last night, Orlando confessed his love to Lena. She must've been throwing herself at him! You need to dump her ASAP!" Nancy's fingers curled slightly. This woman was Orlando's 'girlfriend'? Judson's gaze snapped up, and his eyes were cold as he looked at Ann. "My wife wouldn't even sparea second glance, let alone be interested in a loser like Orlando." Ann felt an invisible pressure from Judson's piercing gaze, making it breathless. But she remembered she wasn't alone.

"What do you mean by that?" Judson stepped forward, his presence icy and fierce. "What do you think? You hit my wife, didn't you?" His voice was low and menacing, making it clear that anyone who dared to harm Nancy would face serious consequences.

Ann felt the air freeze as Judson approached. Even the temperature seemed to drop to a deathly chill. "Bob!" The man, who had been hovering around Nancy, darted toward Judson, even reaching out to grab his arm. "Stay away from our lady, or else!" His threat was cut short by a sharp scream. Before Bob could react, his grip on Judson got countered, twisted in the opposite direction, and pressed down.

Crack! The sound of bones breaking echoed, followed by agonizing screams that filled the room. Bob knelt on the ground in pain, his face ashen, his body curled up.

Initially floored by Judson, Aaron didn't dare move a muscle.

Ann was stunned, especially as Judson walked toward her, his steps slow, his handsface devoid of warmth, like a demon emerging from hell.

Ann trembled all over, instinctively stepping back. "You, you don't dare! Lena, control your man. I'm the..." Slap! Judson's hand struck Ann's face hard.

Nancy watched quietly, emotionless. She was no saint, still feeling the sting of the slap on her face.

Ann's world went dark, her mouth filled with the taste of blood. Before she could gather her wits, Judson seized her throat, lifting her off her feet. When she realized what was happening, her knees hit the ground hard.

Ann looked at Nancy towering over her, "Feeling smug, huh? Don't get cocky," "Want another round?" Judson said coldly.

Intimidated, Ann fell silent, her face a mix of pain and restraint.

Calm as ever, Nancy grabbed Ann's chin, examining Ann's swollen right cheek. "So, you're Ann Harris of the Harris family? Where have you hidden my people?" Looking into Nancy's indifferent face and kneeling in defeat, Ann felt her dignity trampled underfoot. "Why should I tell you? I am Ann Harris! And why did you go after Orlando if you knew who I am?" "Who told you I was after Orlando?" Nancy asked, unfazed.

Judson's frown deepened, clearly displeased with Ann's accusations.

"Because I've had people tailing Orlando. He confessed to you last night and even fought other men over you. That man is your husband, isn't he?"

Ann's rage took over her senses. "You already have a husband) Why can't ё you leave my man alone?"

Just as Ann's hysterical voice dropped, Orlando's furious voicem broke in. "Lena never likedto begin with. It was all my unrequited love!" Everyone turned to see Orlando, his head bandaged, his right eye bruised, barging in.

Judson immediately wrapped his arms around Nancy, shielding her.

Orlando was speechless.

"Heh, look at you." Judson sneered a silent declaration of victory over a defeated rival.
