Chapter 623 Noelle had used all her strength. In the past, even if she had lashed out at Hendrix, she had never used full force because of her feelings for him.

But this time, she had put every ounce of her strength into it. Hendrix's cheek quickly turned red, but she didn't even spare him another glance.

As she pushed him aside and tried to keep moving forward, Hendrix said, "They've found them." Hearing this, Noelle stopped in her tracks. Then, she slowly turned around and asked, "You're not lying to me, are you?" "No." "Then, where are they? Is Rosie okay? Where is she?" Hendrix immediately rushed up to Hendrix, her words tumbling out incoherently. "Why hasn't she cto see me? Is she mad atfor not looking for her? Or did you hide her away?" "She's in the hospital," Hendrix replied. "When the avalanche happened, they hid in a cave. They survived, but the entrance was mostly buried. So, it took the rescue team a long tto find them. She's still in the ICU under observation." Hendrix spoke slowly, his hands gripping her shoulders, his tone gentle as if trying to calm Noelle.

Noelle stared at him. "So, she hasn't woken up yet?" "No." "Is her life in danger?" Hendrix hesitated before answering, "The doctors are doing their best." "I want to see her." Noelle seemed to have truly calmed down, but her voice was hoarse.

Hendrix looked at her for a moment, then said, "You're not in a good state right now, so let's wait until tomorrow to go see her." "I want to see her now!" Noelle, who had just seemed calm a moment ago, suddenly bristled like a cat. As she spoke, she pushed Hendrix away again.

Seeing that she was about to rush out, Hendrix had no choice but to stop her. "Alright. I'll take you there now." "I can go by myself." "Do you know which hospital she's in? Not to mention, you won't be able to get a taxi at this hour." Hendrix's words finally made Noelle calm down.

It wasn't until they left the hotel that Noelle realized the sky outside was pitch black. The already quiet city felt even more desolate at this hour.

Noelle had left in a hurry, wearing only a coat. Now, as the cold wind hit her face, she realized how brutal the winter in this city was. It was bone-chillingly cold.

Hendrix took off his scarf and wrapped it around her neck.

The gesture sent a jolt through Noelle. She then instinctively tried to push his hand away but Hendrixe quickly Said, "Rosie is still waiting for you at the hospital. Do you want her to wake up and see you sick with a fever?" Noelle froze at his words. By then, Hendrix had already walked ahead to bring the car around.

The roads were covered in snow, and as a safety precaution, Hendrix had to drive at a crawl.

As anxious as Noelle was, she didn't dare to urge him to go faster instead, she clenched her hands-which were on her knees-tighter and tighter. Finally, they arrived at the hospital.

But the first thing Noelle saw wasn't the bright lights inside it was then crowd of reporters gathered at the entrance.
