Chapter 117
She had only a touch of makeup on her face, lending her a fragile, almost pitiful appearance.
Today, she wasn't wearing her signature red dress. Instead, she had on a soft white one that highlighted her
delicate demeanor as she looked at Amara and said, "Ms. Sullivan, | owe you an apology."
Amara was momentarily taken aback, saying nothing at first.
Liliana bit her lip, her eyes dropping to the floor as she went on, "Yesterday, | let my paranoia get the best of me.
Falling into the water was entirely my own doing, and it had nothing to do with you. Yet, | accused you. Ms.
Sullivan, | sincerely apologize for the trouble | caused you yesterday."
Liliana bowed deeply towards Amara, her hair cascading down as she did so, falling to either side of her face.
Amara watched this scene unfold with a bit of surprise. The bow lasted a couple of seconds before Liliana
straightened up, her face flushed with embarrassment, and she addressed, "Ms. Sullivan, will you please forgive

Amara pondered quietly, still not speaking. Cedric swept a glance at Finnian, and then stepped forward with a
lighthearted tone. "Liliana knows she was wrong, and that's what matters. There's no need to linger on this. Ama
is such a wonderful person. I've worked with her many times, and wherever she goes, people always praise her
for her kindness and sensibility."
Cedric seemed to be smoothing things over, subtly siding with Amara. He pointed out that Amara was always
praised someone as kind-hearted and sensible wherever she went, implying that if there was an issue with
Liliana, it must be on Liliana's end.
Truthfully, Cedric was quite annoyed with Liliana over yesterday's incident, but with Finnian around, he dared not
speak outright and resorted to this indirect criticism.
Liliana either didn't catch on or chose to ignore it. She continued, “Ms. Sullivan, can you forgive me?"
Around the set, the crew appeared busy with their tasks, yet their ears were perked, and their eyes occasionally
darted towards the unfolding .
Amara finally responded in a calm voice, "What good would it do if | didn't forgive you? It's not like | can do
anything about it. | just hope nothing like this happens again."
Amara was not one to stir up trouble, and she knew she couldn't outmatch Liliana and Finnian, better not to
clash with them, so she decided to swallow her pride for
now.
But then, a lukewarm voice interrupted, "There won't be a next time."
Finnian approached, his stride steady and his expression cool. He stopped beside Liliana, directly across from
Amara.
"Amara, there's something | need to tell you. I'm not going to strip you of your title as the screenwriter for
Whispers of Winter, nor will | erase your contributions to the show. When the series airs, your nwill be the
only one listed as the screenwriter, and all official statements will credit you alone.

Finnian nodded to Will, who immediately stepped forward, handing the contract to Amara with both hand's, his
head bowed as he avoided her gaze, speaking softly,
"Here's the contract, please have a look."
